THE BIG QUESTION... WHAT IS AN OSTEOPATH?

Question: How are we as Osteopaths different from Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, GPs, Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists, etc.?

Answer: I DON'T KNOW!!!

There are good practitioners in every profession. The salient points are:

Do they take their time?
Do they take a thorough history?
Do they do a thorough examination?
Do they give you a diagnosis and prognosis? Do they explain what they think is happening, and over what period of time you will see changes or improvements?
Do they treat you and your body with respect?
